The Garga-samhita Verse 6.6.42, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 6 (The Yadavas’ Victory When Shri Rukmini is Kidnapped) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

सेनां समागतां सर्वां
समाकृष्य हलेन वै
मुसलेनाहनत् क्रुद्धो
बलदेवो महा-बलः

senāṃ samāgatāṃ sarvāṃ
samākṛṣya halena vai
musalenāhanat kruddho
baladevo mahā-balaḥ

senām—the army; samāgatām—come; sarvām—all; samākṛṣya—dragging; halena—with His plow; vai—indeed; musalena—with His club; ahanat—struck; kruddhaḥ—angry; baladevaḥ—Balarāma; mahā-balaḥvery powerful.

English translation of verse 6.6.42:

When the demons' army came, angry Lord Balarāma dragged it with His plow and pounded it with His club.
