The Garga-samhita Verse 6.6.23, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 6 (The Yadavas’ Victory When Shri Rukmini is Kidnapped) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

रथिनो रथिभिस् तत्र
पत्तिभिः सह पत्तयः
गजा गजैर् युयुधिरे
तुरगाश् च तुरङ्गमैः

rathino rathibhis tatra
pattibhiḥ saha pattayaḥ
gajā gajair yuyudhire
turagāś ca turaṅgamaiḥ

rathinaḥ—chariot warriors; rathibhiḥ—with chariot warriors; tatra—there; pattibhiḥ—footsoldiers; sahawith; pattayaḥ—footsoldiers; gajāelephants; gajaiḥ—with elephants; yuyudhire—fought; turagāś—cavalry; ca—and; turaṅgamaiḥ—with cavalry.

English translation of verse 6.6.23:

Chariot warriors fought with chariot warriors, footsoldiers with footsoldiers, elephants with elephants, and cavalry with cavalry.
