The Garga-samhita Verse 6.6.9, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 6 (The Yadavas’ Victory When Shri Rukmini is Kidnapped) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

देवानां पश्यतां राजन्
राज-कन्यां जहार ह
दिव्यं शस्त्रोत्तमं शार्ङ्गं
धनुष् टङ्कारयन् मुहुः

devānāṃ paśyatāṃ rājan
rāja-kanyāṃ jahāra ha
divyaṃ śastrottamaṃ śārṅgaṃ
dhanuṣ ṭaṅkārayan muhuḥ

devānām—as the demigods; paśyatām—looked on; rājanO king; rāja-kanyām—the princess; jahāra—kidnapped; ha—indeed; divyam—splendid; śastrottamam—the best of weapons; śārṅgam—the Sārṅga; dhanuḥ—bow; ṭaṅkārayan—twanging; muhuḥ—again and again.

English translation of verse 6.6.9:

O king, again and again Lord Kṛṣṇa twanged His Śārṅga bow, the best of weapons, and, as the demigods looked on, kidnapped beautiful Princess Rukmiṇī.
