The Garga-samhita Verse 6.5.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 5 (The Kidnapping of Shri Rukmini) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

ततः प्रसन्ना श्री-भैष्मी
तद्-अङ्घ्र्योः प्रणिपत्य स
प्राह त्वद्-वंशतो विप्र
न यास्यामि वचो मम

tataḥ prasannā śrī-bhaiṣmī
tad-aṅghryoḥ praṇipatya sa
prāha tvad-vaṃśato vipra
na yāsyāmi vaco mama

tataḥthen; prasannāhappy; śrī-bhaiṣmī—Śrī Rukmiṇī; tad-aṅghryoḥ—at his feet; pranipatya—falling; sa—she; prāha—said; tvad-vaṃśataḥ—from your family; vipraO brāhmaṇa; na—not; yāsyāmi—I will go; vacaḥ—words; mama—of me.

English translation of verse 6.5.8:

Very pleased, Śrī Rukmiṇī fell at the brāhmaṇa's feet and said, "O brāhmaṇa, I will never leave your family. That is my promise."

Note: Śrī Rukmiṇī is Śrīmatī Lakṣmī-devī, the goddess of fortune. Here she promises that the brāhmaṇa's family will never be in poverty.
