शिश्पुआलाय स्वां कन्यां
दास्यन् राजा तु भीष्मकः
चक्रे विवाह-सम्भार-
सञ्चयं रत्न-मण्डपे
śiśpuālāya svāṃ kanyāṃ
dāsyan rājā tu bhīṣmakaḥ
cakre vivāha-sambhāra-
sañcayaṃ ratna-maṇḍape
śiśpuālāya—to Sisupala; svam—his own; kanyām—daughter; dāsyan—about to give; rāja—King; tu—indeed; bhīṣmakaḥ—Bhismaka; cakre—did; vivāha-sambhāra-sañcayam—preparation for the wedding; ratna-maṇḍape—in a jeweled pavilion.
English translation of verse 6.4.28:
About to offer his daughter to Siśupāla, King Bhīṣmaka made elaborate wedding preparations in a jewel pavilion.
