शम् अत्रास्तु च तत्रास्तु
ततस् त्वत्-पत्रम् आगतम्
नारदोक्तेन वचसा
ज्ञातो ऽसि प्रकृतेः परः

śam atrāstu ca tatrāstu
tatas tvat-patram āgatam
nāradoktena vacasā
jñāto 'si prakṛteḥ paraḥ

śam—happiness; atra—here; astumay be; ca—and; tatra—there; astu—may be; tataḥthen; tvat-patram—Your letter; āgatam—arrived; nāradaof Nārada; uktena—spoken; vacasā—by the words; jñātaḥ—understood; asi—You are; prakṛteḥ—the material world; paraḥ—beyond.

English translation of verse 6.4.12:

"Your letter brought happiness everywhere. From Nārada Muni's words I can understand that You are beyond the world of matter.
