भवान् स्वयम्भूर् जगतां पितामहो
विधे सुर-ज्येष्ठ इति प्रभावतः
अस्य वरं सर्व-गुणं चिरायुषं
वदाशु मां दिव्यम् अशेष-दर्शनः

bhavān svayambhūr jagatāṃ pitāmaho
vidhe sura-jyeṣṭha iti prabhāvataḥ
asya varaṃ sarva-guṇaṃ cirāyuṣaṃ
vadāśu māṃ divyam aśeṣa-darśanaḥ

bhavān—you; svayambhūḥself-born; jagatām—of the universes; pitāmahaḥthe granfather; vidhe—O Brahmā; sura-jyeṣṭhathe best of the demigods; iti—thus; prabhāvataḥ—by the power; asyaof him; varamhusband; sarva-guṇam—having all virtues; cirāyuṣam—living eternally; vadaplease tell; āśu—at once; mām—to me; divyam—divine; aśeṣa-darśanaḥseeing everything.

English translation of verse 6.3.13:

You are self-born. You are the grandfather of all in the universe. You are the best of the demigods. You see everything. O lord, please tell me who should become my daughter's husband, a divine husband that lives forever and has all virtues.
