द्वापरे क्षुल्लका मर्त्या
ताल-व्र्क्ष-शतोच्छ्रितम्
दृष्ट्वा तं दुद्रुवुर् मार्गे
भय-भीता इतस् ततः
dvāpare kṣullakā martyā
tāla-vrkṣa-śatocchritam
dṛṣṭvā taṃ dudruvur mārge
bhaya-bhītā itas tataḥ
dvāpare—in Dvapara-yuga; kṣullakā—short; martyā—living beings; tāla-vrkṣa- śatocchritam—as tall as a hundered palm trees; dṛṣṭvā—seeing; tam—him; dudruvuḥ—fled; mārge—on the road; bhaya-bhītā—terrified; itaḥ—here; tataḥ—and there.
English translation of verse 6.2.36:
The Dvāpara-yuga people, who were all very short, became terrified and fled when on the road they saw King Mucukunda, who was tall as a hundred palm trees.
