निरायुधं हरिं ज्ञात्वा
मयोक्तैर् लक्षणैः खलः
निरयुधः स तं योद्धुं
पदातिः स्वयम् आगतः
nirāyudhaṃ hariṃ jñātvā
mayoktair lakṣaṇaiḥ khalaḥ
nirayudhaḥ sa taṃ yoddhuṃ
padātiḥ svayam āgataḥ
nirāyudham—unarmed; harim—Kṛṣṇa; jñātvā—understanding; mayā—by me; uktaiḥ—described; lakṣaṇaiḥ—by the characteristics; khalaḥ—the demon; nirayudhaḥ—unarmed; sa—he; tam—to Him; yoddhum—to fight; padātiḥ—on foot; svayam—personally; āgataḥ—approached.
English translation of verse 6.2.11:
Aware, by the description I had given him, that this unarmed person was Kṛṣṇa, the demon put down his arms and walked to Kṛṣṇa to start a fight.
