केचिद् वीरा धर्म-परा
रण-रङ्गान् न चलिताः
ययुर् विष्णु-पदं दिव्यं
भित्त्वा मार्तण्ड-मण्डलम्
kecid vīrā dharma-parā
raṇa-raṅgān na calitāḥ
yayur viṣṇu-padaṃ divyaṃ
bhittvā mārtaṇḍa-maṇḍalam
kecit—some; vīrā—warriors; dharma-parā—devoted to duty; raṇa-raṅgān—from the battlefield; na—not; calitāḥ—fled; yayuḥ—went; viṣṇu—of Lord Viṣṇu; padam—to the abode; divyam—transcendental; bhittvā—breaking; mārtaṇḍa-maṇḍalam—the circle of the sun.
English translation of verse 6.1.35:
Some heroes, staunchly devoted to duty and not fleeing the battlefield, passed through the circle of the sun and went to the transcendental abode of Lord Viṣṇu.
