विद्याधर्यश् च स्वर्ग-स्था
गन्धर्व्यो ऽप्सरसस् तथा
क्षत्र-धर्म-स्थितान् वीरान्
वव्रिरे देव-रूपिणः

vidyādharyaś ca svarga-sthā
gandharvyo 'psarasas tathā
kṣatra-dharma-sthitān vīrān
vavrire deva-rūpiṇaḥ

vidyādharyaḥ—Vidyadharis; ca—and; svarga-sthāin Svargaloka; gandharvyaḥ—Gandharvis; apsarasaḥApsaras; tathā—so; kṣatra-dharma-sthitān—folloing ksatriya-dharma; vīrān—warriors; vavrire—chose; deva-rūpiṇaḥ—the forms of demigods.

English translation of verse 6.1.33:

The warriors that died nobly upholding the principles of kṣatriya-dharma became demigods and the Vidyādharī, Gandharvīs, and Apsarā demigoddesses of Svargaloka selected them to be their husbands.
