The Garga-samhita Verse 6.1.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 1 (Jarasandha’s Defeat) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

दुद्राव तद्-बलं सर्वं
टाङ्कराद् भय-विह्वलम्
प्रतीपम् एत्य गव्यूतिः
पुनस् तत्राजगाम ह

dudrāva tad-balaṃ sarvaṃ
ṭāṅkarād bhaya-vihvalam
pratīpam etya gavyūtiḥ
punas tatrājagāma ha

dudrāva—fled; tad-balam—that army; sarvam—all; ṭāṅkarāt—from the twanging sound; bhaya-vihvalam—terrified; pratīpam—in the other direction; etyagoing; gavyūtiḥ—two miles; punaḥ—again; tatra—there; ājagāma—came; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 6.1.20:

When it heard the twanging of Lord Kṛṣṇa's bow, Jarāsandha's army became terrified and ran two miles from the battlefield.
