अक्षौहिणीभिर् दशभी
रथारूढो महा-बलः
श्री-कृष्णस्य पुरः पूर्वं
युयुधे मागधेश्वरः

akṣauhiṇībhir daśabhī
rathārūḍho mahā-balaḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇasya puraḥ pūrvaṃ
yuyudhe māgadheśvaraḥ

akṣauhiṇībhiḥ—with aksauhinis; daśabhī—ten; rathārūḍhaḥ—mounted ona chariot; mahā-balaḥpowerful; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; puraḥ—in the presence; pūrvam—before; yuyudhe—fought; māgadheśvaraḥ—Jarasandha.

English translation of verse 6.1.13:

Riding on a chariot, and accompanied by ten akṣauhiṇī divisons, Jarāsandha fought with Lord Kṛṣṇa.
