विवाहाः कति पुत्राश् च
कति पौत्रा रमा-पतेः
सर्वं वद महा-बुद्धे
द्वारका-वास-कारणम्
vivāhāḥ kati putrāś ca
kati pautrā ramā-pateḥ
sarvaṃ vada mahā-buddhe
dvārakā-vāsa-kāraṇam
vivāhāḥ-wives; kati—how many?; putrāḥ—children; ca—; kati—how many?; pautrā—grandchildren; ramā-pateḥ—of the husabnd of the goddess of fortune; sarvam—all; vada—tell; mahā-buddhe—O intelligent one; dvārakā-vāsa-kāraṇam—the reason for residing in Dvaraka.
English translation of verse 6.1.3:
How many wives did He have? How many children? How many grandchildren?
