श्री-राम उवाच
यदा यदा मां स्मरथ
तदाहं शरणागतान्
रक्षिता स्यां कलौ नूनं
इति सत्यं वचो मम
śrī-rāma uvāca
yadā yadā māṃ smaratha
tadāhaṃ śaraṇāgatān
rakṣitā syāṃ kalau nūnaṃ
iti satyaṃ vaco mama
śrī-rāma—Śrī Balarāma; uvāca—said; yadā yadā—whenevr; mām—Me; smaratha—remember; tadā—then; aham—I; śaraṇāgatān—to they who take shelter; rakṣitā—the protector; syām—will be; kalau—in Kali-yuga; nūnam—indeed; iti—thus; satyam—truth; vacaḥ—words; mama—of Mine.
English translation of verse 5.24.102:
Śrī Balarāma said: In Kali-yuga, whenever you remember Me and take shelter of Me, I will protect you. This is My promise.
