The Garga-samhita Verse 5.24.70, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 24 (The Killing of the Kola Demon) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

यथोपदेष्ट भवति
तेन ते कथयाम्य् अहम्
उद्धवः स्थापितः श्रीमद्-
आचार्यः संहितामयः

yathopadeṣṭa bhavati
tena te kathayāmy aham
uddhavaḥ sthāpitaḥ śrīmad-
ācāryaḥ saṃhitāmayaḥ

yathopadeṣṭa—as taught; bhavatiis; tena—by him; te—to you; kathayāmi—I tell; aham—I; uddhavaḥUddhava; sthāpitaḥ—placed; śrīmad-ācāryaḥ—the teacher; saṃhitāmayaḥ—learning in that saṃhitā.

English translation of verse 5.24.70:

I tell you Uddhava is a great teacher of Śrīmad Bhāgavatī-samhitā.
