The Garga-samhita Verse 5.24.10, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 24 (The Killing of the Kola Demon) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तत्-सहायं कुरु विभो
वयं यस्य प्रजाः शुभाः
पुत्रवत् पालितास् तेन
महा-सौख्य-समन्विताः

tat-sahāyaṃ kuru vibho
vayaṃ yasya prajāḥ śubhāḥ
putravat pālitās tena
mahā-saukhya-samanvitāḥ

tat-sahāyam—help; kuruplease givve; vibhaḥ—O powerful one; vayam—we; yasya—of him; prajāḥthe subjects; śubhāḥgood; putravat—like sons; pālitāḥ—protected; tena—by him; mahā-saukhya-samanvitāḥ—very happy.

English translation of verse 5.24.10:

O almighty one, please help him. We are his good subjects. He always protected us as if we were his own children. We were always happy under his rule.
