The Garga-samhita Verse 5.21.35, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 21 (The Story of Shri Narada) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

श्री-रागा ऊचुः
वैकुण्ठस्य पतेः साक्षात्
प्रिया मुख्या सरस्वती
कुर्याच् छिक्षां यदा तस्मै
तदा स्यात् काल-विन् मुनिः

śrī-rāgā ūcuḥ
vaikuṇṭhasya pateḥ sākṣāt
priyā mukhyā sarasvatī
kuryāc chikṣāṃ yadā tasmai
tadā syāt kāla-vin muniḥ

śrī-rāgāḥ ūcuḥ—the rāgas said; vaikuṇṭhasya—of Vaikuṇṭha; pateḥof the Lord; sākṣātdirectly; priyāthe beloved; mukhyāthe best; sarasvatīSarasvatī; kuryāt—is; śikṣām—teaching; yadā—when; tasmai—to him; tadāthen; syāt—may be; kāla-vit—knowing the proper time; muniḥ—sage.

English translation of verse 5.21.35:

The rāgas said: Goddess Sarasvatī is the dearest beloved of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the master of Vaikuṇṭhaloka. One who learns from her will know the proper times of music.
