यत्र जम्बू-नदी श्यामा
जम्बू-फल-रसोद्भवा
तथा जम्बूनदं नाम
सुवर्णं भवति प्रिये
yatra jambū-nadī śyāmā
jambū-phala-rasodbhavā
tathā jambūnadaṃ nāma
suvarṇaṃ bhavati priye
yatra—where; jambū-nadī—the river Jambu; śyāmā—dark; jambū-phala-rasodbhavā—created from the nectar of jambu fruits; tathā—so; jambūnadam—Jambunada; nāma—named; suvarṇam—gold; bhavati—is; priye—O beloved.
English translation of verse 5.21.22:
O beloved, in that place is a dark jambū-juice river that becomes the golden river named Jambūnada.
