The Garga-samhita Verse 5.19.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 19 (The Festival on Shri Krishna Return) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

ततः पुरस्कृत्य मदोन्नतं गजं
सिन्दूर-शुण्डा-धृत-हेम-शृङ्खलम्
समाययौ श्री-वृषभानु-मुख्यो
भावान् कृतिस् तत्र कलावती-युतः

tataḥ puraskṛtya madonnataṃ gajaṃ
sindūra-śuṇḍā-dhṛta-hema-śṛṅkhalam
samāyayau śrī-vṛṣabhānu-mukhyo
bhāvān kṛtis tatra kalāvatī-yutaḥ

tataḥthen; puraskṛtya—coming before; madaintoxicated; unnatam—great; gajam—elephant; sindūra-śuṇḍā-dhṛtaits trunk anointed with red sindura; hema- śṛṅkhalam—with gold ornaments; samāyayau—came; śrī-vṛṣabhānu-mukhyaḥ—King Vṛṣabhānu; bhāvān—bring; kṛtiḥ—piety;; tatra—there; kalāvatī-yutāḥ—with Kalāvati.

English translation of verse 5.19.20:

With a great intoxicated elephant shackled with golden links and its trunk decorated with red sindūra preceding them, King Vṛṣabhānu and his queen Kalāvati also came to meet Kṛṣṇa.
