The Garga-samhita Verse 5.19.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 19 (The Festival on Shri Krishna Return) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

उद्धवो प्रेषितो वक्तुं
श्री-कृष्णेनार्भकैः सह
आगतं कथयाम् आस
श्री-कृष्णं नन्द-पट्टने

uddhavo preṣito vaktuṃ
śrī-kṛṣṇenārbhakaiḥ saha
āgataṃ kathayām āsa
śrī-kṛṣṇaṃ nanda-paṭṭane

uddhavaḥUddhava; preṣitaḥsent; vaktum—to speak; śrī-kṛṣṇena—with Kṛṣṇa; arbhakaiḥ—the boys; sahawith; āgatam—come; kathayām āsa—told; śrī-kṛṣṇam—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; nanda-paṭṭane—in Nanda's village.

English translation of verse 5.19.17:

Then Kṛṣṇa and the boys sent Uddhava into Nanda's village to say that Śrī Kṛṣṇa had returned.
