The Garga-samhita Verse 5.18.27, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 18 (Uddhava Hears the Gopis’ Words and Returns to Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

वृषभानूपनन्दांश् च
समनुज्ञाप्य लोकतः
तथा कृष्ण-सखीन् सर्वान्
रथम् आरुह्य निर्गतः

vṛṣabhānūpanandāṃś ca
samanujñāpya lokataḥ
tathā kṛṣṇa-sakhīn sarvān
ratham āruhya nirgataḥ

vṛṣabhānuthe Vṛṣabhānus; upandān—the Upanandas; ca—and; samanujñāpya—taking permission; lokataḥ—completely; tathā—then; kṛṣṇa-sakhīn—Kṛṣṇa's friends; sarvān—all; ratham—chariot; āruhya—climbing; nirgataḥ—left.

English translation of verse 5.18.27:

Taking permission from the Vṛṣabhānus, the Upanandas, and all of Lord Kṛṣṇa's friends, Uddhava mounted his chariot and left.
