श्री-नारद उवाच
अथ राधा लेखनीं च
नीत्वा पत्रं मषेस् त्वरं
समाचारं चिन्तयन्ति
तावद् अश्रूनि सुश्रुवुः
śrī-nārada uvāca
atha rādhā lekhanīṃ ca
nītvā patraṃ maṣes tvaraṃ
samācāraṃ cintayanti
tāvad aśrūni suśruvuḥ
śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; atha—then; rādhā—Rādhā; lekhanīm—a pen; ca—and; nītvā—bringing; patram—a cup; maṣeḥ—of ink; tvaram—at once; samācāram—activity; cintayanti—thinking; tāvat—then; aśrūni—tears; suśruvuḥ—flowed.
English translation of verse 5.18.19:
Śrī Nārada said: Then Rādhā took a pen and a jar of ink. As She thought of what to write, tears flowed from Her eyes.
