सपत्नी-हार-चिह्नाढ्यं
आगतं तम् उषः-क्षणे
ह दैव कस्मिन् समये
द्रक्ष्यामो नन्द-नन्दनम्
sapatnī-hāra-cihnāḍhyaṃ
āgataṃ tam uṣaḥ-kṣaṇe
ha daiva kasmin samaye
drakṣyāmo nanda-nandanam
sapatnī—rival; hāra—necklace; cihna—mark; āḍhyam—enriched; āgatam—come; tam—Him; uṣaḥ-kṣaṇe—at dawn; ha—indeed; daiva—O destiny; kasmin—at what?; samaye—time; drakṣyāmaḥ—we will see; nanda-nandanam—Nanda's son.
English translation of verse 5.18.14:
O destiny, when will we again see Nanda's son, bearing the marks and necklace of our rival as he comes to us at dawn?
