The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.33, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 17 (The Gopis Describe Their Remembrance of Sri Krsna) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

स्रि-अयोध्य-पुर-वसिन्य उचुह् क्र्त्व निरचम् विनिधय चचम् जगम चचम् मथुर-पुरस्य योगम् च तस्योपरि चलिखन् नो निर्मोहिनम् चित्तम् अहो विचित्रम् स्रि-अयोध्य-पुर-वसिन्य

sri-ayodhya-pura-vasinya ucuh krtva niracam vinidhaya cacam jagama cacam mathura-purasya yogam ca tasyopari calikhan no nirmohinam cittam aho vicitram sri-ayodhya-pura-vasinya

ucuh—the gopis that had been the women of Ayodhya said; krtva—having done; niracam—hopelessness; vinidhaya—placing; ca—and; acam—hope; jagama—went; ca—and; acam—in the direction; mathura-purasya—of Mathura City; yogam—meeting; ca—and; tasya—of Him; upariover; ca—and; alikhant—wrote; nah—not; nirmohinam—of the peaceful; cittam—the heart; ahah—Oh; vicitram—wonderful.

English translation of verse 5.17.33:

The gopis that had been the women of Ayodhya said: First He gave us no hope, then He gave us hope, then he went to Mathura City. Now He writes that we will meet again. Are not the hearts of they who do not love wonderful to see?
