The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.29, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 17 (The Gopis Describe Their Remembrance of Sri Krsna) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

स्रि-अजित-पदच्रित उचुह् क्र्स्ने लग्नम् नेत्र-युग्मम् धवद् दच-दिचन्तरम् अहो न लग्नम् कुत्रपि पद्म-लग्नो यथ ह्य् अलिह् स्रि-अजित-पदच्रित

sri-ajita-padacrita ucuh krsne lagnam netra-yugmam dhavad daca-dicantaram aho na lagnam kutrapi padma-lagno yatha hy alih sri-ajita-padacrita

ucuh—the gopis that had taken shelter of Lord Ajita's feet said; krsne—on Lord Krsna; lagnam—resting; netra-yugmam—eyes; dhavatrunning; daca-dicantaram—in the ten directions; ahah—Oh; na—not; lagnam—resting; kutrapi—anywhere; padma-lagnah—resting on a lotus; yatha—as; hi—indeed; alih—a bee.

English translation of verse 5.17.29:

The gopis that had taken shelter of Lord Ajita's feet said: Not going anywhere else in the ten directions, our eyes rest on Krsna as a bumblebee rests on a lotus.
