स्रि-च्वेतद्विप-सखि-जन उचुह् यथ चिलिन्ध्रम् चिचुर् अच्रमो गजह् स्व-पुस्करेनैव च पुस्करम् गिरिम् ध्र्त्व बभौ स्रि-व्रज-रज-नन्दनह् क्र्पकरो ऽसौ न हि विस्म्र्तह् क्वचित् स्रि-च्वेतद्विप-सखि-जन
sri-cvetadvipa-sakhi-jana ucuh yatha cilindhram cicur acramo gajah sva-puskarenaiva ca puskaram girim dhrtva babhau sri-vraja-raja-nandanah krpakaro 'sau na hi vismrtah kvacit sri-cvetadvipa-sakhi-jana
ucuh—the gopis that had been friends of the goddess of fortune on Svetadvipa said; yatha—as; cilindhram—a mushroom; cicuh—boy; acramah—shelter; gajah—elephant; sva-puskarena—with a lotus; eva—indeed; ca—and; puskaram—a lotus; girim—hill; dhrtva—holding; babhau—manifested; sri-vraja-raja-nandanah—the prince of Vraja; krpakarah—kind; asau—He; na—not; hi—indeed; vismrtah—forgotten; kvacit—ever.
English translation of verse 5.17.26:
The gopis that had been friends of the goddess of fortune on Svetadvipa said:
We have not forgotten compassionate Sri Krsna, the prince of Vraja, who, as a child lifts a mushroom or an elephant lifts a lotus in its tongue, lifted Govardhana Hill.
