The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 17 (The Gopis Describe Their Remembrance of Sri Krsna) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

स्रि-विजय-युथ उचुह् सद न कस्यपि भुज प्रियम्से सद वसन्तो न सद युव स्यत् इन्द्रो न रज्यम् कुरुते सदयम् चतुर्-दिनैर् मनम् अलग्करोतु स्रि-विजय-युथ

sri-vijaya-yutha ucuh sada na kasyapi bhuja priyamse sada vasanto na sada yuva syat indro na rajyam kurute sadayam catur-dinair manam alagkarotu sri-vijaya-yutha

ucuh—the groups headed by Vijaya said; sadaalways; na—not; kasyapiof someone; bhujathe arms; priyamse—on the beloved's shoulder; sada—always; vasantah—springtime; na—not; sada—always; yuvayouth; syat—is; indrah—Indra; na—not; rajyam—kingdom; kurute—does; sada—always; ayamHe; catur-dinaih—with four days; manamhonor; alagkarotu—may decorate.

English translation of verse 5.17.14:

The groups of gopis headed by Sri Vijaya said: The arm is not on the beloved's shoulder eternally. Springtime is not eternal. Youth is not eternal. Indra does not rule his kingdom eternally. For four days Kubja was glorified.
