The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 17 (The Gopis Describe Their Remembrance of Sri Krsna) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

स्रि-गोवर्धन-वसिन्य उचुह् पुरन्ध्रि-प्रेम-क्र्द् यो वै सैरन्ध्रि-नयको ऽभवत् चैलौकोभिस् तु किम् तस्य बहुन कथितेन किम् स्रि-गोवर्धन-वसिन्य

sri-govardhana-vasinya ucuh purandhri-prema-krd yo vai sairandhri-nayako 'bhavat cailaukobhis tu kim tasya bahuna kathitena kim sri-govardhana-vasinya

ucuh—- the residents of Sri Govardhana said; purandhri—for the city girls; premalove; krt—doing; yah—who; vai—indeed; sairandhri-nayakah—the lover of the maidservant; abhavat—became; cailaukobhih—by they who live on the hill; tu—indeed; kim—what?; tasya—of Him; bahuna—more; kathitena—said; kim—what?

English translation of verse 5.17.8:

The gopis of Govardhana Hill said: Now He loves the girls in Mathura City.

Now He loves the maidservant Kubja. Why should He love the girls of Govardhana Hill? What more need we say?
