The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 17 (The Gopis Describe Their Remembrance of Sri Krsna) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

स्रि-गोलोक-वसिन्य उचुह् विदेचम् गतवन् क्र्स्नस् त्य्कत्व पुर्व-प्रियन् जनन् तद् उपर्य् अलिखद् योगम् अहो निर्मोहत-बलम् स्रि-गोलोक-वसिन्य

sri-goloka-vasinya ucuh videcam gatavan krsnas tykatva purva-priyan janan tad upary alikhad yogam aho nirmohata-balam sri-goloka-vasinya

ucuh—the residents of Sri Goloka said; videcam—to a foreign land; gatavan—gone; krsnah—Krsna; tykatva—abandoning; purva-priyan—those who were formerly dear ot Him; janan—people; tat—that; upariabove; alikhat—wrote; yogam—yoga; ahah—Oh; nirmohata-balam—the power of freedom from illusion.

English translation of verse 5.17.2:

The gopis from Sri Goloka said: Krsna left the people He used to love and went far away. Now He writes us a letter saying yoga makes one free from illusions.
