The Garga-samhita Verses 5.14.37-38, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 14 (The Meeting of King Nanda and Uddhava) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

परिपुर्नतमम् विद्धि स्रि-क्र्स्नम् नन्द-नन्दनम् कम्सदिनम् वधर्थय भक्तनम् रक्सनय च ब्रह्मन प्रर्थितह् क्र्स्नो ऽवततर ग्र्हे तव जत-मत्रो ऽद्भुतम् लिलम् चकर स-बलो हरिह्

paripurnatamam viddhi sri-krsnam nanda-nandanam kamsadinam vadharthaya bhaktanam raksanaya ca brahmana prarthitah krsno 'vatatara grhe tava jata-matro 'dbhutam lilam cakara sa-balo harih

paripurnatamam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; viddhi—know; sri-krsnam—Sri Krsna; nanda-nandanam—Nanda's son; kamsadinam—beginning with Kamsa; vadharthaya—to kill; bhaktanam—of the devotees; raksanaya—for protection; ca—and; brahmanaby Brahma; prarthitah—requested; krsnah—Krsna; avatatara—descended; grhe—in the home; tava—of you; jata-matrah—born; adbhutam—wonderful; lilam—pastimes; cakaradid; sa-balah—with Balarama; harih—Krsna.

English translation of verses 5.14.37-38:

Know that Nanda's son, Krsna, is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Requested by the demigod Brahma, and in order to protect the devotees and kill the demons led by Kamsa, He descended to your home. Since the moment of His birth, He and Balarama enjoyed many wonderful pastimes.
