कचिपु-स्थम् स्थितम् चन्तम् उद्धवम् क्र्त-भोजनम् कचिपु-स्थो नन्द-रजह् प्रह गद्गदय गिर कचिपु

kacipu-stham sthitam cantam uddhavam krta-bhojanam kacipu-stho nanda-rajah praha gadgadaya gira kacipu

stham—on a cushion; sthitam—seated; cantam—peaceful; uddhavam—Uddhava; krta-bhojanam—havign eaten; kacipu-sthah—on the cushion; nanda-rajah—King Nanda; praha—said; gadgadaya—choked; girawith words.

English translation of verse 5.14.8:

When Uddhava was comfortably seated on a soft cushion and fed a nice meal, King Nanda, also seated on a cushion, spoke many words choked with emotion.
