अगतम् ह्य् उद्धवम् च्रुत्व नन्द-रजो मह-मतिह् परिरभ्य मुद चिघ्रम् पुजयम् अस हर्सितह्

agatam hy uddhavam crutva nanda-rajo maha-matih parirabhya muda cighram pujayam asa harsitah

agatam—come; hi—indeed; uddhavam—Uddhava; crutva—hearing; nanda-rajah—King Nanda; maha-matih—noble-hearted; parirabhya—embracing; mudajoyfully; cighram—at once; pujayam asa—worshiped; harsitah—happy.

English translation of verse 5.14.7:

Hearing that he had come, King Nanda happily embraced and worshiped Uddhava.
