The Garga-samhita Verse 5.11.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 11 (The Stories of Kubja and Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

श्री-त्रित उवाच
गजवत् त्वं मदोन्मत्तो
ऽभूर् जनान् परिमर्दयन्
विचरन् रङ्ग-यत्रायां
त्वं गजो भव दुर्मते

śrī-trita uvāca
gajavat tvaṃ madonmatto
'bhūr janān parimardayan
vicaran raṅga-yatrāyāṃ
tvaṃ gajo bhava durmate

śrī-trita uvāca—Śrī Trita said; gajavat—like an elephant; tvam—you; madonmattaḥ—wild; abhūḥ—have become; janān—the people; parimardayan—pushing; vicaran—going; raṅga-yatrāyām—an a pilgrimage ot Raṅga-kṣeyra; tvam—you; gajaḥ—an elephant; bhavabecome; durmate—fool.

English translation of verse 5.11.16:

Śrī Trita said: Pushing the people on the way to Raṅga-kṣetra, you have become like a wild elephant. Fool, then I curse you to become an elephant.
