The Garga-samhita Verse 5.11.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 11 (The Stories of Kubja and Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

तद्-बहु-वेगात् पतितः
पथि वृद्धस् त्रितो मुनिः
क्रुद्धः सशाप तं मत्तं
बलिष्ठं बलि-नन्दनम्

tad-bahu-vegāt patitaḥ
pathi vṛddhas trito muniḥ
kruddhaḥ saśāpa taṃ mattaṃ
baliṣṭhaṃ bali-nandanam

tad-bahu-vegāt—by the power of his arms; patitaḥfallen; pathion the path; vṛddhaḥelderly; tritaḥTrita; muniḥMuni; kruddhaḥ—angry; saśāpa—cursed; tam—him; mattammaddened; baliṣṭham—powerful; bali-nandanam—the son of Bali.

English translation of verse 5.11.15:

Pushed to the ground in this way, the elderly sage Trita Muni became angry and cursed Bali's wild and powerful son.
