The Garga-samhita Verse 5.10.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 10 (The Stories of the Washerman, Weaver, and Florist) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
सुदाम्ना मलिना ब्रह्मन्
किं कृतं सुकृतं वद
यद्-गृहं जग्मतुः साक्षाद्
राम-कृष्णौ मनोहरौ

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
sudāmnā malinā brahman
kiṃ kṛtaṃ sukṛtaṃ vada
yad-gṛhaṃ jagmatuḥ sākṣād
rāma-kṛṣṇau manoharau

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; sudāmnā—Sudama; malināthe florist; brahmanO brāhmaṇa; kim—what?; kṛtam—done; sukṛtam—pious deed; vadaplease tell; yad-gṛham—in whose home; jagmatuḥ—went; sākṣātdirectly; rāma-kṛṣṇau—Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; manoharau—hansome.

English translation of verse 5.10.17:

Śrī Bahulāśva said: O brāhmaṇa, what pious deeds did the florist Sudāmā perform that handsome Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma personally came to his home? Please describe that to me.
