The Garga-samhita Verse 5.10.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 10 (The Stories of the Washerman, Weaver, and Florist) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-रामस्य वरात् सो ऽयं
मथुरायां बभूव ह
तयोर् वेषं कारयित्वा
तत्-सारूप्यं जगाम ह

śrī-rāmasya varāt so 'yaṃ
mathurāyāṃ babhūva ha
tayor veṣaṃ kārayitvā
tat-sārūpyaṃ jagāma ha

śrī-rāmasya—of Lord Rāma; varāt—from the blessing; saḥ—he; ayamhe; mathurāyām—in Mathurā; babhūva—became; ha—indeed; tayoḥ—of Them; veṣam—the garment; kārayitvā—making; tat-sārūpyam—a transcendental form like Theirs; jagāma—attained; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 5.10.16:

By the blessings of Lord Rāma he took birth in Mathurā City. He personally made garments for Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, and he attained a transcendental form like Theirs.
