The Garga-samhita Verse 5.10.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 10 (The Stories of the Washerman, Weaver, and Florist) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

कु-वाक्य-दोस-शान्त्य्-अर्थं
तं जघान हरिः स्वयम्
तद् अपि प्रददौ मोक्षं
तस्मै श्री-करुणा-निधिः

ku-vākya-dosa-śānty-arthaṃ
taṃ jaghāna hariḥ svayam
tad api pradadau mokṣaṃ
tasmai śrī-karuṇā-nidhiḥ

ku-vākyaof bad words; doṣathe fault; śāntipeace; arthamfor the purpose; tam—him; jaghāna—killed; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa; svayam—Himself; tat—that; api—also; pradadau—gave; mokṣam—liberation; tasmai—to him; śrī-karuṇā-nidhiḥan ocean of mercy.

English translation of verse 5.10.8:

To stop his blasphemy, however, Lord Kṛṣṇa killed him. Then the Lord, who is an ocean of mercy, gave him liberation.
