यमः सद्यो बलिं नीत्वा
श्री-कृष्ण-बलदेवयोः
पपात चरणोपान्ते
धर्षितः सन् कृताञ्जलिः
yamaḥ sadyo baliṃ nītvā
śrī-kṛṣṇa-baladevayoḥ
papāta caraṇopānte
dharṣitaḥ san kṛtāñjaliḥ
yamaḥ—Yama; sadyaḥ—at oince; balim—an offering; nītvā—bringing; śrī-kṛṣṇa-baladevayoḥ—to Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; papāta—fell; caraṇopānte—at the feet; dharṣitaḥ—humbled; san—being; kṛtāñjaliḥ—with folded hands.
English translation of verse 5.9.31:
Bringing an offering in his folded hands, humble Yamarāja fell down at the feet of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma.
