The Garga-samhita Verse 5.9.29, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 9 (The Happiness of the Yadus) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

पाञ्चजन्य-ध्वनिर् लोकं
प्रचण्डो मेघ-घोष-वत्
पूरयाम् आस तं श्रुत्वा
चकम्पे स-सभो यमः

pāñcajanya-dhvanir lokaṃ
pracaṇḍo megha-ghoṣa-vat
pūrayām āsa taṃ śrutvā
cakampe sa-sabho yamaḥ

pāñcajanya-dhvaniḥwith the sound of the Pancajana conchshell; lokam—the world; pracaṇḍaḥferocious; megha-ghoṣa-vatlike thunder; pūrayām āsa—filled; tam—that; śrutvāhearing; cakampe—trembled; sa-sabhaḥ—with his assembly; yamaḥ—Yamarāja.

English translation of verse 5.9.29:

Blowing the conchshell that had been Pa 241)cajana's outer body, powerful Lord Kṛṣṇa filled the world with a sound like thunder. When they heard it, Yamarāja and his assembly trembled.
