एवं हत्वा पञ्चजनं
शङ्खं नीत्वा तद्-अङ्गजम्
महार्णवान् निर्गतो ऽसौ
सहसा रथम् आगमत्
evaṃ hatvā pañcajanaṃ
śaṅkhaṃ nītvā tad-aṅgajam
mahārṇavān nirgato 'sau
sahasā ratham āgamat
evam—thus; hatvā—having killed; pañcajanam—Pancajana; śaṅkham—the conch; nītvā—taking; tad-aṅgajam—born from his body; mahārṇavāt—from the ocean; nirgataḥ—came; asau—He; sahasā—at once; ratham—to the chariot; āgamat—came.
English translation of verse 5.9.27:
After killing the demon, Lord Kṛṣṇa took the demon's shell, left the great ocean, and returned to His chariot.
