The Garga-samhita Verse 5.9.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 9 (The Happiness of the Yadus) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

आहूय यादवान् कंस-
भयाद् देशान्तरं गतान्
प्रेम्णा निवासयाम् आस
स-कुटुम्बान् यदोः पुरी

āhūya yādavān kaṃsa-
bhayād deśāntaraṃ gatān
premṇā nivāsayām āsa
sa-kuṭumbān yadoḥ purī

āhūya—calling; yādavān—the Yadavas; kaṃsaof Kaṃsa; bhayāt—out of fear; deśāntaram—to other countries; gatān—gone; premṇā—with love; nivāsayām āsa—gave homes; sa-kuṭumbān—with their families; yadoḥ—of the Yadavas; purīin the city.

English translation of verse 5.9.6:

Calling together the Yādavas that had fled to other countries out of fear of Kaṃsa, Lord Kṛṣṇa affectionaltely gave homes in Mathurā to them and their families.
