The Garga-samhita Verse 5.9.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. ताव् आश्वास्य हरिः सद्यो
वृष्णिभिः परिवारितः
मातामहं तूग्रसेनं
चकार मथुराधिपम्

tāv āśvāsya hariḥ sadyo
vṛṣṇibhiḥ parivāritaḥ
mātāmahaṃ tūgrasenaṃ
cakāra mathurādhipam

tau—them; āśvāsyaconsoling; hariḥLord Kṛṣṇa; sadyaḥat once; vṛṣṇibhiḥ—the Vrsnis; parivāritaḥwith; mātāmaham—His maternal grandfather; tu—indeed; ugrasenam—Ugrasena; cakāramade; mathurādhipam—the king of Mathurā.

English translation of verse 5.9.5:

Accompanied by the Vṛṣṇis, Lord Kṛṣṇa consoled His parents. Then He crowned king of Mathurā His maternal grandfather, Ugrasena.
