The Garga-samhita Verse 5.9.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 9 (The Happiness of the Yadus) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

राम-कृष्णौ सुतौ ज्ञात्वा
शौरिर् मोह-समाकुलः
देवक्या सहसोत्थाय
सस्वजे चाश्रु-पूरितः

rāma-kṛṣṇau sutau jñātvā
śaurir moha-samākulaḥ
devakyā sahasotthāya
sasvaje cāśru-pūritaḥ

rāma-kṛṣṇau—Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; sutau—the two sons; jñātvā— understanding; śauriḥVasudeva; moha-samākulaḥ—bewildered; devakyā—with Devakī; sahasāat once; utthāyarising; sasvaje—embraced; ca—and; aśruwith tears; pūritaḥ—filled.

English translation of verse 5.9.4:

Now thinking Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma his own sons, bewildered Vasudeva suddenly stood up. His eyes filled with tears, he and Devakī embraced their two sons.
