स्वतस् तयोर् बन्धनानि
ययुः शिथिलितां नृप
तौ वीक्ष्य गरुडं प्राप्तं
नाग-पाश-गुणा यथा

svatas tayor bandhanāni
yayuḥ śithilitāṃ nṛpa
tau vīkṣya garuḍaṃ prāptaṃ
nāga-pāśa-guṇā yathā

English translation of verse 5.9.2:

O king, seeing their condition, Lord Kṛṣṇa at once untied their bonds, as Garuḍa unties a knotted rope of snakes.
