The Garga-samhita Verse 5.8.41, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 8 (The Killing of Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

सृष्टिं तथा सुनामानं
मुद्गरेण बलो ऽहनत्
न्यग्रोधं भुज-वेगेन
कङ्कं वाम-करेण वै

sṛṣṭiṃ tathā sunāmānaṃ
mudgareṇa balo 'hanat
nyagrodhaṃ bhuja-vegena
kaṅkaṃ vāma-kareṇa vai

sṛṣṭim—Sṛṣṭi; tathā—then; sunāmānam—Sunama; mudgareṇa—with a club; balaḥBalarāma; ahanat—killed; nyagrodham—Nyagrodha; bhuja-vegena—with His arms; kaṅkam—Kanka; vāma-kareṇa—with His left hand; vai—indeed.

English translation of verse 5.8.41:

With the club Lord Balarāma killed Sṛṣṭi and Sunāma, with His arms He killed Nygrodha, and with His left hand He killed Kaṅka.
