The Garga-samhita Verse 5.8.21, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 8 (The Killing of Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्री-नारद उवाच
एवं विकथमानस्य
कंसस्य यदु-नन्दनः
सहसोत्पत्य तं मञ्चं
आरुहत् क्रोध-पूरितः

śrī-nārada uvāca
evaṃ vikathamānasya
kaṃsasya yadu-nandanaḥ
sahasotpatya taṃ mañcaṃ
āruhat krodha-pūritaḥ

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; evam—thus; vikathamānasya—speaking wildly; kaṃsasya—of Kaṃsa; yadu-nandanaḥ—Kṛṣṇa; sahasāsuddenly; utpatya—leaping; tam—that; mañcam—box; āruhat—entered; krodha-pūritaḥ—filled with anger.

English translation of verse 5.8.21:

Śrī Nārada said: As Kaṃsa was speaking in this wild way, Lord Kṛṣṇa, filled with anger, suddenly jumped into his box.
