The Garga-samhita Verse 5.8.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 8 (The Killing of Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

एवं श्री-राम-कृष्णाभ्यां
मल्लेषु निहतेषु च
शेषाः प्रदुद्रुवुर् मल्ला
भयार्ता जीवनेच्छया

evaṃ śrī-rāma-kṛṣṇābhyāṃ
malleṣu nihateṣu ca
śeṣāḥ pradudruvur mallā
bhayārtā jīvanecchayā

evam—thus; śrī-rāma-kṛṣṇābhyām—of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; malleṣu—among the wrestlers; nihateṣu—killed; ca—and; śeṣāḥ—the remainder; pradudruvuḥ—fled; mallāwrestlers; bhayārtā—frightened; jīvanecchayā—wishing to stay alive.

English translation of verse 5.8.14:

After many wrestlers were thus killed by Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, the others, terrified and intent on staying alive, fled.
