तस्य मुष्टि-प्रहारेण
न चचाल परात् परः
सद्यो गृहीत्वा चाणूरं
पातयाम् आस भू-तले
tasya muṣṭi-prahāreṇa
na cacāla parāt paraḥ
sadyo gṛhītvā cāṇūraṃ
pātayām āsa bhū-tale
tasya—of him; muṣṭi-prahāreṇa—by the punch; na—not; cacāla—wavered; parāt—than the greatest; paraḥ—greater; sadyaḥ—at once; gṛhītvā—grabbing; cāṇūraṃ-Cāṇūra; pātayām āsa—threw; bhū-tale—to the ground.
English translation of verse 5.8.4:
Unmoved by the punch, Lord Kṛṣṇa, who is greater than the greatest, suddenly grabbed Cāṇūra and threw him to the ground.
