The Garga-samhita Verses 5.7.28-29, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 7 (The Killing of Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

नीता गजास् तथा चान्यैः
कृष्णं हन्तुं शत-त्रयम्
अङ्कुशास्फालनात् क्रुद्धं
मत्तेभं पुनर् आगतम् श्री-कृष्णो भगवान् साक्षाद् बलदेवस्य पश्यतः
शुण्डा-दण्डे सङ्गृहीत्वा
भ्रामयित्वा त्व् इतस् ततः
पातयाम् आस भू-पृष्ठे
कमण्डलुम् इवार्भकः

nītā gajās tathā cānyaiḥ
kṛṣṇaṃ hantuṃ śata-trayam
aṅkuśāsphālanāt kruddhaṃ
mattebhaṃ punar āgatam śrī-kṛṣṇo bhagavān sākṣād baladevasya paśyataḥ
śuṇḍā-daṇḍe saṅgṛhītvā
bhrāmayitvā tv itas tataḥ
pātayām āsa bhū-pṛṣṭhe
kamaṇḍalum ivārbhakaḥ

nītā—brought; gajāḥelephants; tathā—then; ca—and; anyaiḥ—byu others; kṛṣṇam—Kṛṣṇa; hantum—to kill; śata-trayam—three hundred; aṅkuśāsphālanāt—hit with goads; kruddham—angry; mattebham—maddened; punaḥ—again; āgatam—come; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥŚrī Kṛṣṇa; bhagavānthe Supreme Personality of Godhead; sākṣātdirectly; baladevasya—as Balarāma; paśyataḥ—watched; śuṇḍā-daṇḍe—the trunk; saṅgṛhītvā—grabbing; bhrāmayitvā—whirling around; tv—indeed; itaḥ—here; tataḥ—and there; pātayām āsa—threw; bhū-pṛṣṭhe—to the ground; kamaṇḍalum—a kamandalu; iva—as; arbhakaḥ—a child.

English translation of verses 5.7.28-29:

Then other trainers brought three hundred elephants to kill Lord Kṛṣṇa. As Lord Balarāma watched, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, approached the elephant maddened by the pinching goad, grabbed it by the trunk, whirled around and around, and finally threw it to the ground as a small child throws a kamaṇḍalu.
